Students in English 7 will read two Accelerated Reading books each nine weeks. They will complete a Vocabulary worksheet until the vocabulary workbook is finished (30 Chapters). The spelling test each week will come from the Vocabulary worksheet. Seventh grade students will do grammar and writing assignments from the 7th grade Shurley textbook. The 7th grade will work on mastering the expository essay. Seventh grade students will also use the 7th grade literature book (Introducing Literature) as time permits.
