10th-12th grade (semester) Students analyze the steps in career planning and confront skills needed in the school and workplace. Individual interests, skills, and aptitudes are explored while participating in mock interviews, job shadowing in the community, and developing a personal career portfolio. Developing social and decition-making skills; understanding the responsibility of living on one's own; choosing, finding, and keeping a job; and managing income are key concepts in this course.
