General Science is an introductory science course that covers various aspects of the physical sciences with an emphasis on physics and chemistry. In the course, students will concentrate on the basics of chemistry including atoms, compounds, solutions and mixtures and the basics of physics including topics like motion, work, energy, heat and temperature. The history and structure of the universe and basic astronomy will also be covered. Labs will be an integral part of the classes.
