The pre-algebra class uses the textbook Passport to Algebra and Geometry. This text is designed as a pre-algebra course, which will prepare the students for Algebra 1. This course will provide a broad yet solid foundation for algebra and geometry with an emphasis on real life application so students sense the need for math. Students are introduced to simplification of algebraic expressions and solving linear equations in an unknown as well as similarity, congruence, and volume.
