Background Information

The ACT (American College Test) is widely utilized by midwestern colleges and universities for admission, placement, and scholarship purposes. Students attending an east or west coast college should take the SAT. Visit www.collegeboard.com for more information.

It is suggested that seniors take either or both the October or December test in order to meed deadlinnes for scholarships or admission into competive programs.

Cost is $30.00

Registration is possible online at www.actstudent.org or pick up a student packet in Mr. Runyan's office.

Registe early to avoid being out of your desired testing center.

Our school code is 170-410.

Practice sites:

www.actstudent.org/sampletest/
www.4tests.com/exams

or Mr. Runyan has practice disks available for checkout in his office.

Helpful hint: it is more beneficial to become comfortable with the ACT test style and format than attempting to "cram" information into your head a week or so before the test.
