Week 1 - We had a solid start to our season beating Marion at home and Attica on the road. Our defense allowed us to get some transition baskets and we were able to get some stops in both games. I like the Chemistry that is building and that speaks to our senior leadership. This week we go to play in the Border Queen tournament and open with Douglass.

Player of the Week - James Braun / Led us in scoring both games and was a solid defender.

Week 2 - A great week for our boys' team. We played well on both ends of the floor to win the Border Queen Tournament. The guys were locked in and executed the game plan for all three games. Really proud of their efforts.

Player of the week - Tyrel Henderson / His defense intensity sparked us all week. He also used it to fuel him on the offensive end.

Week 3

We finally got to play at home and we played at a high level from the tip. We shot the ball well and played intense defense versus CCA. Friday we were in a dog fight with Douglass. It was back and forth most of the night but we were able to make a couple of more plays to secure the win in over time.

Player of the week- Breno Paz started to become more confident the last few games and his play has showed. He is playing hard defense and driving the ball well.

Week 4

We started slow against sedan but were able to pick up our defense that led to some ease transition baskets. Against Caldwell we were locked in and had a dominant game on both ends of the floor. We open the league tournament at home Tuesday against Sedan.

Gunner Parsons! Gunner showed a great games shooting the ball and attacking the basket.

Week 5

Coaches corner - Although we didn't win the league tournament, we went 2-1 and played some good basketball and were able to rotate more players in. I was pleasant that we were able to refocus after a loss

POW - Conner Atkins- He stepped into the starting line up and been able to score inside and outside as well as rebounding the ball well.

Week 6

Coaches Corner - I was pleased with the level of intensity and preparation our guys came out with. We guarded very well. Against FlintHills we were able to take them out of their set. Against CVD, we shot the ball very well which led us to have strong defense

POW- Bradyn Nellsch - He was great in help defense ran the floor well, rebounded and scored

Week 7

Coaches corner- Both games we did not have the best start but in both games we had big 2nd quarters fueled by our defense. I thought we drove the ball well and got some balanced scoring.

POW- Ethan Ferguson, Ethan scored the ball well, rebounded, and defended in the paint.

Week 8

Coaches corner- Getting a win at Dexter was big in our goal to win the league. It was a tough road game that I felt we were able to overcome a halftime deficit.

POW) James Braun- James was our lead in n scoring in both games. He was able to knock down 3's as well as finish off drives. He also went over 1000 career points.
