Week 1 Clearwater - "Chasen with a great race against former teammates.  What a great start to his Central career!"

Week 2 Hesston -  "Gunnar with a strong race in tough conditions.  Probably the gutsiest race of the day."

Week 3 Central -  "Ty Henderson with breakout race after a great summer of running, at our home course, on his senior year!"

Week 4 KU - "Avi and Kyson.  Avi for running the best race of the season so far by improving her time by over 3 minutes from last year at KU.  Kyson for the second year in a row responding to the intense conditions at KU and having a breakthrough race."

Season is going great!  The men's team just came off their second win in a row with a strong showing at Eureka. They placed 6 kids in the top 10 individuals, 2nd overall was Kyson, 3rd James, 5th Chasen, 6th Gunnar, 7th Ty, and 10th DH.  The 7th grade boys won the meet also. Kari had a great showing with 5th in the women's varsity race. Avi won the JV race, Bo was 3rd, and Lylliegh ran a person best of 33:00.  League is next week.  I think we have a good chance of being successful as both individuals and as a team.
