The HS wrestling team will be traveling to West Elk tonight starting at 5:30 pm. The will be wrestling West Elk first followed by Eureka. The matches will be livestreamed. Please follow the link below.

The HS SCBL BB tournament will start this Saturday.
The boys will play on Saturday at Udall against South Haven. Tip off will be at 11:30 am and the bus will leave at 9:30 am.
The girls will play on Tuesday at West Elk at 6:30. The bus will leave at 5:00 pm.

Raider Activities for January 9-14.
It was a great night of HS basketball with a big crowd. The JV girls tied and the JV boys won. The varsity girls defeated Douglass 36-32. The HS boys lost a tough one 46-32. Both teams are back in action next Tuesday at West Elk.
It is Homecoming 2023 “Winter Luau” tonight. Central will be hosting Douglass. JV games start at 4:30 pm and Varsity starts at 6:00 pm. Coronation is at 4:30 pm.
Come out to the games tonight and grab a Baked Potato or other great food from the concession stand ran by the Junior class!
The JH BB team swept Udall tonight in all 5 games. The A team girls pulled out a close one 20-19 and the A team boys cruises to a 40-29 win. The JH teams are back at home next Thursday against West Elk.
Mark you calendar! Art Night Out is coming back to Central on February 8th. We look forward to seeing community patrons and our families at the upcoming fundraiser.

Spirit week includes Total White Out Tues., Winter Gear Wed., & Raider Spirit Thurs.. Coronation will be Fri., Jan. 6th during half time of the HS boys basketball game.

Here are the activities going during January 2-7.
Our students spent some time with Mrs. Littrell before break to complete holiday STEM challenges, make snowmen and build extra large snowflakes to decorate our commons area. They also enjoyed a snack of homemade caramel popcorn. Fun was had by all!
CES STRIKE Club students spent an evening before break caroling around Burden! Thank you students and sponsors for braving the frigid temperatures to bring joy to our community members!
