The Central 1st and 2nd grade Youth BB teams played today. Central has 3 coed teams. These teams play on Sunday and it is 3 on 3 half court.
The kids are learning a lot about basketball. Great job Raiders!

The Central youth BB season started today.
5th grade boy lost to 5th/6th grade West Elk 20-27.
3rd/4th grade boys lost to CVD 9-22.
3rd/4th grade girls beat West Elk 39-4.

The HS BB team opened their season up tonight at home against Attica. The girls lost a hard fought game 27-52. The boys beat Attica 44-34 in an exciting game. Good job Raiders!
The JH BB teams played at Flinthills last night. The A team girls won 30-17. The A team boys lost 24-38. The B team boys tied and the B team girls and C team boys both list. Lots of good basketball last night at Flinthills!
The HS BB tournament at Caldwell starts next week. The format has changed from last year. Please see the attached schedule.

Activities Update
November 28 - December 3
Central Raider families - during this holiday season as we reflect on what we are most thankful for, we want you to know how grateful we are for your partnership in the education of your student. We hope you have a restful and blessed Thanksgiving break. Reminder that school will not be in session on Monday, Nov. 28th. See you Tuesday students!!
Congrats to Aubrey Miller who won a Kansas City Chiefs basket for placing in the top 3 of the Industrial Metal Fabrication Welding Competition. The competition was held at the ESSDACK 2022 Career Expo in Hutchinson earlier this month.
Tonight Central hosted Sedan for JH BB. The C boys and B boys and girls all lost hard fought games. The A girls beat Sedan 39-17, followed by the A boys beating Sedan 36-25.
JH BB will come back after Thanksgiving and play their first road game at Flinthills on Dec 1st.

We enjoyed an evening of yummy food and beautiful performances by the Central Raider JH/HS Choir/Band students at Bella Notte! Thank you to everyone who came out to support them and congratulations to Mrs. Wheeler and all the students on your hard work and a successful event!
The JH basketball teams opened up their season tonight against South Haven with B girls, B boys, A girls, and A boys all coming away with wins.
The Raiders are back in action on Monday at home against Sedan. Good job Raiders!
