Central Raider Cross Country hosted their home invitational this evening. Unfortunately, the weather had us cancelling the meet before the HS Boys 2 Mile race. Everyone else ran very well at home though! Thank you all for coming out to support our Raiders!

Central Booster Club is planning the annual Raider Rally for Sept. 29th at 6 p.m. Join us for games and competitions amongst grades 9-12 and staff. Community members and underclassman are encouraged to come and watch the fun!!!
The cross country team will run at home today! Running will start at 3 pm with the junior high and the high school will start at 4 pm. The course is north of the high school and goes up to the elementary school.
Come out and cheer the kids on!
Good luck to the JH VB/FB team as they travel to Oxford. The VB team starts play at 4:00 pm with C team, followed by B team, and then A team. Football will kick off at 7:00 pm. If you are unable to make the game, it will be streamed on Oxford's Hudl TV page.

The Central Burden FFA went to the Greenhand Conference today @ Centre High School. We came home with several medals and Certificates. Lena McGee, Hunter Henderson, and Kaden Underwood tied for First place, Price Kindt received 7th place, Blake Craig received 15th place, and Max Bergman received 20th place! Everyone was in the top 20 out of 727 Greenhands in the South Central District! Way to go Freshman!!!
HS Volleyball had some tough battles this evening at home vs. Argonia, Sedan, and CVD. Lady Raiders got a win against Sedan in 3 sets! Keep it up!!
The HS Volleyball team recognized some very special teachers in their lives this evening for teacher appreciation night at the home game as well as all teachers in the stands!

If you were a Jersey auction winner for last Friday's home game and haven't returned the players jersey please make arrangements to do so before Monday. The junior varsity travels to Argonia Monday at 330 pm to play AnA.
CES Volleyball played in Wellington today. 3rd grade lost to Oxford in 3 sets and beat Caldwell. 4th/5th grade lost to Dexter and Wellington Red. Keep up the hard work Raiders!
The JH VB team beat Caldwell, South Haven and Argonia today! Good job girls!

Thank you to the United Methodist church and the many donors who have helped the football coaches feed both the high school and junior high boys on Friday mornings.
