Raider Athletic Update for March 31 - April 5.


The Raider Foreniscs team had a great night at the Flinthills tournament! Results include: Payton and Emma 5th in IDA, Eli & Laken 6th in IDA, Eli 6th in informative, Laken 7th in informative, Emma 6th in oration, and Fynlie 5th in poetry and 6th in impromptu! Great job!!


The Jr. Class Improv Play, Dinner, & Bingo night was a hit!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support the class fundraiser!







It's that time for the CHS Junior play! Join us tonight at 6 pm for baked potato bar, bingo, and skits. Ticket cost is $10.






The baseball team opened their season tonight against Udall. The boys lost the first game in extra innings, but came back and run ruled the Eagles in the second game. Good job boys!








The softball team opened their season up tonight against Udall. The girls played hard and improved throughout the evening, but lost both games. The girls are back in action on Monday at home against Oxford.





Our HS/JH Music students competed in the league contest this morning at Cowley County Community College. The Band received a 1 ranking and the Choir received a 2 ranking. JH soloists included Lilea Weigle with a 1, and Dakota Bell, Ethan Ferguson, and Violet Ferguson with a 2. Great job Raiders!






Good luck to the Baseball & Softball teams as they open their season today at HOME against Udall. First pitch is at 4:00 pm. Good luck Raiders!

The Raider Booster Club hosted our Winter Athletic Banquet this evening at CJSHS. Thank you athletes and participants, coaches, and families for our great evening celebrating you! Great season Raiders!








Congratulations to Rylynn, James, & Ethan for making the SCBL All League basketball team this year!



The HS and JH cheerleaders were honored tonight at the end of the year cheer banquet. Lots of memories and accomplishments were shared. Thanks for all your hard work this season!

The HS Winter Athletic Banquet is this Tuesday, March 25 at 6:00 pm We will be honoring HS BB, Wresting, and Scholars' Bowl. The Booster Club will be providing a Taco bar. Please bring a dessert to go with it.


Central Elementary School is currently seeking applicants for an elementary teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for a well-rounded and motivated individual to join our team! Central Elementary is a Leader in Me School that emphasizes hands-on learning experiences, development of the whole child and student-led opportunities.

Big meet day in Conway Springs! Kaden and Logan won their weight classes and multiple PRs from all our lifters today. We will wrap up our season April 12 in Claflin at the KEMFA state meet.
