Central wrestlers competed in a tournament today at Fredonia High School. The following wrestlers placed in the top 4: Anakin-4th, Kaden-1st, Miles-4th, Xander-1st, Aubrey-2nd, Sierra-3rd, Ady-2nd.
The 3rd/4th grade boys come away with the win today against Sedan, 23-8. Good job Raiders!
The 3rd and 4th grade girls lost a hard fought battle 10-9 today at Winfield Rec. Good hustle ladies.
The 5th grade girls lost a close one ,16-18, to the Winfield 5th/6th grade girls. The girls fought hard but came up short.
The wrestling team will be traveling to Fredonia today. The meet starts at 9:00 am. Good luck wrestlers!
The high school dance will be ending at 11:45 p.m. this evening.
GLOWCO 2024 - Winter Homecoming ceremony at Central High School. Congratulations to King Kaden Miller and Queen Ana Mercy.
The HS BB team hosted Caldwell for Homecoming tonight. The girls fought hard but lost. The boys won big 70-38. Good job Raiders!

The HS BB team will be hosting Caldwell for Homecoming today. Games will start at 4:30 pm with JV boys followed by the varsity girls and boys. Coronation will be at halftime of the boys game. Come out and support the kids!

The JH BB teams played at Flinthills tonight. The A girls, B girls, and B boys all came away with wins. The A boys and C boys lost hard fought games. Good job Raiders!

Good luck to the JH BB teams as they travels to Flinthills tonight. There will be 2 gyms being used. Games will start at 5:00 pm with B team girls & boys, followed by A team girls and C team boys, and then A team boys.
There is a bridge out between Atlanta and Leon, so please factor that detour into your drive time to Rosalia tonight.
If you are unable to make it tonight, the games will be livestreamed on the Flinthills USD 492 Athletics YouTube page.
The Raider high school basketball team traveled to Douglass last night. The JV boys team fought hard but came out with a loss. The varsity girls team had an awesome game but lost by just a few points. The varsity boys team came away with a win. Great job Raiders.

CES is hosting the Body Venture Traveling Interactive Experience from the Kansas Department of Education for the first time on January 31st for Kindergarten-6th Graders. This is a big program that we are honored to host. Due to the size of the program- we need volunteers to help with setup on the evening of Tuesday, January 30th, presenters the morning of Wednesday, January 31st and following the program on Wednesday January 31st. If you are able to help with any of these essential pieces- please sign up below! Thank you for making this day possible for our kids and always supporting students at CES!
