Good luck to the HS FB team tonight as the boys will battle Goessel at home. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm. Come out and support the boys. This is a KSHSAA postseason event and admission will be charged to everyone. Adults are $6 and student are $5.

Central's freshman class attended the ESSDACK Career Expo in Hutchinson on Tuesday. The ESSDACK Career Expo allows students to explore post-secondary & career opportunities and support their Individual Plans of Study. Students met with business, public service, and college representatives to understand career and educational options following high school.




Raider Families - Join us this evening Wed., Oct. 25th at CJSHS for In-Person Parent Teacher Conferences. Teachers will be in their classrooms between 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. We are excited to see our parents/guardians and discuss student progress, goals, concerns, and celebrations!

Congratulations to the Delilah's family on being selected as the winners of free Central Raider t-shirts for the whole family by replying to the CJSHS Virtual Parent Teacher Conference Emails in September.

Good luck to the Boys Cross Country team and Harlie Vaughn at State on Saturday. There will be a send off for the team Friday at noon. The Burden fire department will lead from them from the school, up to the bank, over to the park, and out of town. Stop by to wave and wish them good luck!

Fall Carnival Coming to CES!

Last week Central FFA members traveled to Newton for Dairy Judging. We had a full senior team and 3 greenhands compete. Darren Underwood and Ty Henderson did the best on our senior team, just missing out on a medal and Lane Moore did the best for our Greenhands. This week we will head over to Harper for Milk Quality CDE.










The HS FB team will be playing at home this Thursday against Goessel in the 1st Round of the playoffs. Support the boys and wear your camo! Kick off is at 7:00 pm.

Congratulations to our HS Fball Team on their District Championship, our HS Boys CC Team on their Regional Championship and State Qualification, and Harlie Vaughn on her State Qualification. The Band had an amazing performance at halftime for those who missed it, Juniors are rocking concessions, FFA competitions are off to a great start, and so much more. Lots of great things are going on at Central. We are proud of you Raiders!

The Lady Raider HS Volleyball team completed their season this afternoon. They lost to Pretty Prairie at Sub-State. Great season Lady Raiders. We are proud of you and all of your hard work and improvement.




Great day of running at the Regional Cross Country meet at Wichita Trinity Academy. The Boys team won the meet and are State Bound. James Braun got 9th and Harlie Vaughn qualified for the girls.
