The HS BB team will be hosting Caldwell for Homecoming today. Games will start at 4:30 pm with JV boys followed by the varsity girls and boys. Coronation will be at halftime of the boys game. Come out and support the kids!

The JH BB teams played at Flinthills tonight. The A girls, B girls, and B boys all came away with wins. The A boys and C boys lost hard fought games. Good job Raiders!

There is a bridge out between Atlanta and Leon, so please factor that detour into your drive time to Rosalia tonight.

CES is hosting the Body Venture Traveling Interactive Experience from the Kansas Department of Education for the first time on January 31st for Kindergarten-6th Graders. This is a big program that we are honored to host. Due to the size of the program- we need volunteers to help with setup on the evening of Tuesday, January 30th, presenters the morning of Wednesday, January 31st and following the program on Wednesday January 31st. The Raider high school basketball team traveled to Douglass last night. The JV boys team fought hard but came out with a loss. The varsity girls team had an awesome game but lost by just a few points. The varsity boys team came away with a win. Great job Raiders.

Activities Update 1/23......The HS BB team will travel to Douglass tonight starting at 4:30 pm. HS wrestling will have practice at 4:00 pm. There will NOT be any JH BB practice today.
These students spent the past weekend at Kansas state concert band clinic with over 600 students spilt into 6 different bands. They rehearsed over 12 hours with collegiate level conductors and performed a concert on Sunday afternoon.
Special congratulations to Darren and Adison who were given the very high honor of being chosen for the top band. Adison was one of 9 trombones chosen for this group and Darren one of 14 trumpets.
Out of an abundance of caution, USD 462 Schools will NOT have school on Tuesday, January 23rd. Our large district has many rural routes and road conditions can vary drastically. The participation of evening activities will be made by 1pm tomorrow. Be safe and thank you for your support.

The 1st and 2nd graders finished up their BB season today. All the kids had fun and improved throughout the season. Thank you to the coaches and all the parents for their support.
