The quarterfinal games are complete. The rest of the SCBL HS BB tournament will take place at Cowley County Community College this weekend.
The boys will play on Thursday against Cedar Vale/ Dexter at 8:30 pm.
The girls will play on Friday against Oxford at 4:00 pm.
The HS BB teams hosted the SCBL quarterfinals tonight. The girls lost a tough game to Argonia 17-27. The boys defeated Udall 52-47. Good job Raiders!
HS BB games WILL be played tonight. The girls will tip off at 6 pm against Argonia, followed by the boys playing Udall. This is the league tournament quarterfinals and EVERYONE will have to pay to get in. Admission is $5 for students and $6 for adults. Attention USD 462 Families - NO SCHOOL - Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Due to a large number of staff and student illnesses along with predicted low temperatures in the morning, USD 462 will not be in session on Tuesday.
As a reminder with the variety of illnesses currently going around, please continue to use health and wellness precautions. If your student is sick, please keep them home and call the office to notify the school of their absence. Students must be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
There will be NO JH Basketball Practice. At this time, the HS Girls and Boys SCBL Tournament basketball games WILL BE played as scheduled. We will evaluate weather conditions around 1:00 p.m. and will announce any possible changes to HS Activities.
Reminder - Wednesday, January 22, 2025 is our late start day. Buses will run 2 hours and 20 minutes behind normal schedule. Elementary doors open at 9:50 a.m. and JH/HS doors open at 10:00 a.m.

The HS BB games have been cancelled for tonight. It will be played tomorrow at home at 7:30 pm following the girls game.
The JH BB teams will go home at the end of the school day. HS practices will be done by 5:15 pm.
The JH BB games against Flinthills has been cancelled tonight. The HS BB games are still on as scheduled. Tip off is at 6:00 pm with 2 quarters of JV boys followed by Varsity. There will be a gate charge for everyone as this is a league tournament game.

The HS will host Udall in the first round of the SCBL tournament. The games will start at 6:00 pm with 2 - quarters of JV boys followed by Varsity. This is the league tournament and there will be a gate charged to EVERYONE starting at 5:30 pm.

Lady Raiders wrestled at the 50th Annual Halstead Tournament today. Sierra wrestled hard but came up short in a tough bracket. Aubrey is currently ranked 2nd by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association for 3-2-1 A Girls at weight 115. She came out on top today at the tournament, wrestling some tough matches and winning with a pin to place 1st!! Keep it up Ladies!
