The Softball and Baseball teams hosted Flinthills this afternoon. The softball team lost two close games. The baseball team lost the first game. In the second game, the boys came back from behind in the bottom of the 7th inning to beat the Mustangs 9-8.
Woo Hoo!! CES 3rd Graders placed 1st in 4 categories for the Willie & The Beanstalk Competition through K-State University! Students planted soybeans in February, worked through the scientific process and finally had the beans judged. Hayden, Zyon, Easton tallest plant; Lynex, Peyton, Stevie most biomass, largest leaf, & most trifoliates! A huge thank you to Sarah LaGrone with the Cowley County Extension Office for helping us with this project! Everyone will receive a t-shirt in the near future! Way to go 3rd grade!!!

CES is asking for donations of candy filled Easter Eggs for our Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 17th. If you would like to help by donating eggs, candy or both, please drop them by the CES Office or send with your child by Wednesday April 16th. HS Baseball & Softball played 1 game at Oxford tonight. Both had tough losses with the girls 8-9 and boys 1-19.
