The JH Girls BB team will play Cedar Vale/Dexter at Cedar Vale on Thursday at Cedar Vale. Tip off is at 4:00 pm in the semi final game of the league tournament. The updated bracket is attached.
Central took 4 kids to Emporia for the first powerlifting competition of the year.
Braden took first overall and had the top lifts in his weight class. He also set the meet record in bench!
Richard took 3rd overall in his weight class and Jackson took first in his weight class.
Adison took second in her weight class and won the clean.

The HS BB teams split with South Haven tonight. The girls lost 23-53. The boys won 62-43.
Both teams are back at home on Tuesday against Flinthills. JV at 4:30 pm and Varsity at 6:00 pm.

CJSHS Lighthouse Student Members held their first monthly student led Rise Assembly today to recognize our Fall Honor Roll students, January Raiders Rise recipients, and talk about the leadership habit Win-Win! Great job Raiders!
Coach Lampert has started 2023 with the lifter of the month. This award recognizes some of his hardest working students. January’s lifters of the month is Ben Long and Emilia Steves. These two kids were the most consistent lifters no matter what else is going on they’re grinding.

It was a fun night of basketball at home against Argonia. The student section theme was Beach Night. The girls lost a close, hard fought game 30-37. The boys beat Argonia 60-43
HS BB is back in action on Friday at South Haven. JV starts at 5 pm and varsity at 6 pm.

The JH BB team played their last game of the regular season tonight. The C boys and B girls both came out with wins. The B boys, A girls, and A boys all lost tough games.
