It is time to get signed up for Rec BB. All registration must be done on paper and turned into the HS office. Forms where sent home with kids this past week. Please get registered by October 12.

The JH VB/FB teams hosted CVD tonight. The VB team battled but lost to the Spartans in 3 sets in each of the A, B, and C team games.
The football team beat the Spartans 52-12. This win makes the football team 5-0.
Next Thursday, the JH will host Flinthills in their final home games of the year.

Yesterday the Central FFA traveled all the way up to Little River for the District Land and Homesite Judging. The students learned a lot during the contest and even went through the Soil Plots with the Soil Scientist after the Contest.









One week from tonight's Junior High football game we will host our annual jersey auction! We will start with the high school at half time and conclude with the junior high after the conclusion of the ball game. It'll be your last chance to catch the junior high at home!

The JH VB/FB team will play at home today against CVD. B team volleyball starts at 4:30 pm with A / C team playing at 5:15 pm. The football kick off will be at 6:30 pm. There will be a tailgate sponsored by the Booster Club! Come out and support the kids.

Central Jr. Sr. High is proud to present our Fall 2023 Homecoming candidates and court! Leading up to our Homecoming Coronation, Central will be celebrating spirit days, class board competitions & games, the return of The Raider Rally, and finally our Homecoming Coronation at 6:15 pm before the Varsity football game vs Oxford. The game will be followed by our homecoming dance which will start 30 minutes after the end of the football game until 11:30 pm. We are looking forward to a fantastic Fall 2023 Homecoming celebration!

Southwestern College is hosting a Basketball Academy on Sundays in October for boys and girls in grades 3 - 12.

Good luck to the HS VB team today as they travel to Caldwell to play Caldwell at 5 and Udall at 6.
Central Senior Ana Mercy signed with the Air National Guard last week. Central students and staff had a special signing ceremony to honor this great achievement. Ana plans to attend Air National Guard Tech School for Operations Intelligence after graduation.



Mr. Groene's Ag class painted the Raider boots and they are all ready to decorate!! Booster Club members will be on Main Street on Wednesday & Thursday evenings this week from 5-7 p.m. with supplies to help decorate the boots. We currently have 15 boots still available. If you would still like a boot and did not order before the deadline, please come to Main Street during these times with $20 to purchase and paint your boot!

Mr. Groene's Middle School Ag class got out and about today and Painted the Raider Boots on main street for the Booster Club.

Athletic Update for September 25-30.

The youth VB teams played in South Haven today. The 3rd/4th graders lost two close matches against Winfield and Dexter. The 5th graders beat Wellington and Udall.
All the girls are learning lots and getting better!




Our high school cross country athletes ran great today! The KU Rim Rock Classic is the largest CC meet in KS with over 3,100 athletes from MO, AR, CO, IA, OK, TX, NE, and KS. It's also considered one of the toughest and hilliest courses in the state. Coach Braun said the team was shooting to have atleast 1 person break into the top 200... we had 4! Harlie Vaughn 126th, James Braun 130th, Ana Mercy 155th, and Gunnar Parsons 195th. Sierra Eastman, Jessica Bell, Darren Underwood, Parker Ferguson, Anakin Brown, Noah Bourdlais, and Zack Reed also ran today for the Raiders.
