Senior Spotlight: Madison Vaughn
Madison plans to attend Wichita State University where she will major in Accounting.
Central beats Sedan 8-3 to advance to the Regional semi finals on Thursday at home at 4:00 pm
Baseball Update.....Central is up on Sedan 5-3 after 3 innings of play
BsB Update.....Central 5 Sedan 0 after 1 inning.
The softball team's season comes to a close as Bluestem defeats the Raiders 15-0.
Softball update....Central beats Udall 20-5. They move on to play Bluestem in about 30 minutes.

Senior Spotlight: Breanna Stevens
Breanna plans to attend Cowley County Community College where she will study Elementary Education.
Good luck to the baseball and softball teams as they are compete in Regionals today. The softball will be playing at West Elk against Udall at noon. The baseball team will be at Genesis Sports Complex in Goddard and will playing Sedan starting at 3:00 pm.
This is a KSHSAA postseason event and admission will be charge. Adults are $8 and students are $6.

Senior Spotlight: Desiree Shockley
Desiree plans to continue attending the Cosmetology Program at Cowley County Community College.
Coach Ben Ponce and staff will be doing a JH BB game on May 30 - June 2 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm for all players entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade next school year. Cost is $20 and it includes a T-shirt. No need to pre-register, just come bring your form to camp on the 30th. Scholarships are available to students that need it. Just let Coach Ponce know.
Forms will go home with students tomorrow.
The softball team will play at West Elk tomorrow at noon against Udall. If the girls win, they will play Bluestem right after the game at 2:00 pm.

Central HS FB team will be hosting their 1st annual youth football camp on June 26 - 28 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the morning! All 1st - 6th graders are welcome to attend!
Senior Spotlight: Guilherme Oliveira
Guilherme plans to attend college in the United States on a basketball scholarship.
The athletic/activity awards banquet will be next Monday, May 22 at 6:00 pm in the CJSHS gym. The booster club will be providing a pasta bar. Please bring a dessert to share.
The Regional BsB/SB games for today have been postponed to tomorrow. Softball will be at noon and baseball schedule will be out later today.
