Central Raider Lady HS Basketball finished up in the post season this evening vs. Pretty Prairie. Final score was 42-19. Well done this season ladies and a special shout out to our two seniors Katie and Ana!!
Kaden Miller and Xander Woods both end their Senior wrestling season in tough fought battles going out in the first round of day 2. Aubrey went out in the 2nd round. You've had a great season Raiders, we are proud of you.

State wrestling update..... Aubrey went 1-1 and wrestles tomorrow at noon. Kaden & Xander went 1-1 and wrestle tomorrow at 2. Anakin & Miles went 0-2 and have completed their season. Good Luck Raiders!
Yesterday the Central FFA spent a second day at our Elementary school doing activities with the younger students in the 6th, 1st, Pre-K 4yr, and 3rd graders. Activities ranged from Leadership, Reading, Poultry judging with egg relays, Land Judging with soil ribbing making, and also learned about teamwork with a Tractor pull!
Tuesday the Central FFA had their Drive your tractor to school day. Everyone that participated drove over to Our Elementary School and had a Tractor parade for the younger students.

The HS BB team hosted West Elk for their final regular season game of the year. The varsity girls lost a hard fought game. The varsity boys and JV boys both got wins. Emma & Addison sang a beautiful nation anthem. Good job Raiders!
Central's JH Varsity Scholars' Bowl team broke finals tonight at Flinthills and finished with 2nd place. Great job, young scholars!

CHS students attended a Raider Rally hosted by Central Booster last Friday night after the basketball games. Raiders participated in games and competitions for prizes and bragging rights!! Seniors were the champions of the evening with their prize being Sonic drinks at school today!!
The Central FFA Chapter kicked off FFA Week Yesterday by spending the Day at our elementary school. Central FFA members led by our Chapter Secretary (Katie Cook), did lessons with our Pre-k 3yr old, Kinder, 5th, 4th, and 2nd graders. Lessons ranged from Ag Equipment, Livestock Evaluations, FFA Trivia, Construction, and Dairy Products.
The HS BB team's host West tonight for the final regular season game of the year. The games start at 4:30 pm with JV boys, followed by the varsity games at 6:00 pm. If you are not able to make it to the game, it will be livestreamed on the Central Hudl TV page.

Sub State brackets are out. The girls are the 6 seed and will travel to Pretty Prairie on Friday, Feb. 23. Tip off is at 7:00 pm. The boys are the 1 seed and will play at home on Thursday, February 29 against the winner of Pretty Prairie/Wichita CCA. Good luck Raiders!
