Athletic Update for September 25-30.
The youth VB teams played in South Haven today. The 3rd/4th graders lost two close matches against Winfield and Dexter. The 5th graders beat Wellington and Udall.
All the girls are learning lots and getting better!
Our high school cross country athletes ran great today! The KU Rim Rock Classic is the largest CC meet in KS with over 3,100 athletes from MO, AR, CO, IA, OK, TX, NE, and KS. It's also considered one of the toughest and hilliest courses in the state. Coach Braun said the team was shooting to have atleast 1 person break into the top 200... we had 4! Harlie Vaughn 126th, James Braun 130th, Ana Mercy 155th, and Gunnar Parsons 195th. Sierra Eastman, Jessica Bell, Darren Underwood, Parker Ferguson, Anakin Brown, Noah Bourdlais, and Zack Reed also ran today for the Raiders.

Update from the Central invitational high school volleyball tournament. The Lady Raiders lost tough fought battles to Attica to finish their play for the day. We are heading into the championship games with Attica, Argonia, Cunningham, and Sedan.

Good luck to the HS cross country team as they travel to Lawrence today to run on the historic Rim Rock Farms course. Girls run at 11:45 am and boys run at 12:15 pm.

The HS FB team beats Argonia/Attica 44-12 in the first game of districts. The boys travel to Udall next Friday.
